Ingenuity and inspiration have always been driving forces, both for us and Soular Therapy. After meeting in 1994, we realized that we shared an entrepreneurial spirit and an affinity for high-end retail. We opened Eden, an eclectic home furnishings store unlike any other in Texas, in the fall of 1994 to rave reviews. After years of retail success, we attended our first trade show seeking great accessories to meet the demands of our discriminating clients. We noticed an incredible lack of personalization, quality and ingenuity in the products we discovered and thought other retailers must be noticing the same thing. We decided it was time for us to create a line that would meet our exacting standards while reflecting our passion for design and luxury. The result was Soular Therapy, born in 1999 with the clear goal of becoming innovators in the home and personal care arena. Inspired by the stars, the launch of our Astrological Aromatherapy line, Soular Therapy Systems, gained an international following and soon found Soular Therapy in discerning retail locations around the globe. With the addition of each new collection into the Soular Therapy galaxy, our attention stays to our original creative spirit. We are constantly in motion, whether globe-trotting to ensure our fragrance representations of Florence or Seville are as life-like and transportive as possible or making certain our fingers remain on the pulse of luxury retail with new product introductions.
We love what we do and are tremendously grateful to be living our dream, but even more so, are thrilled to be able to share that dream with you. With aspirations set as high as the sky and a continually growing spirit of innovation, you can be assured that each stellar new collection from Soular Therapy will reach for the stars that first inspired us.
At Soular Therapy, we find the secret to our productivity lay in keeping our offices and our entire team communicative and relaxed, ensuring that ideas are constantly moving through the ranks. One of the team’s most valuable members charged with ensuring the environment stays relaxed is also one of the most communicative. Known by many names, Astro, a lovable and loud 7 year old Bichon Frise is as much Soular Therapy as Astrological Aromatherapy. A fixture at every Soular Therapy pow-wow or brainstorming session, Astro (a.k.a. Blastro) is a vocal contribution to day to day life at Soular Therapy. As official mascot and watchdog extraordinare, Astro spends his day ensuring that any unexpected visitors (and the expected more often than not) are announced to the office in its entirety. Should you ever find yourself on a call with a member of Soular Therapy’s sales team and suddenly hear a cacophony of barking in the background, it’s simply Astro voicing his opinion and welcoming you to Soular Therapy.
Just steps away from the San Antonio River, Soular Therapy calls a 9,000 square foot warehouse and office combination home. Situated in one of San Antonio’s most up and coming business districts, the building started life as a lighting showroom and gallery. Paying homage to its roots, vintage Eames fixtures now hang where a row of chandeliers once swung. With a mind toward the contemporary, Soular Therapy HQ serves as the perfect inspiration for all our endeavors. Our modern renovations combine with classic 50’s construction in much the same way our products marry chic and sleek design with classic refinements. Though not open to the public, we do get quite a few interested parties coming through the door asking for tours of our facilities. Who knows - perhaps that will be Soular Therapy’s next venture?
